Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 9, 2026
Hi there. We built TidyPath to help you approach cleaning with less overwhelm and more calm. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who helps us process it, and what choices you have. We've kept it as plain as we can.
The short version
- We collect only what we need to run and improve the app.
- The photos you take are deleted after 3 days.
- We don't sell your data or use it for advertising.
- We don't train AI models on your photos, and neither does our AI provider.
- You can ask us to delete your account and all your data at any time.
Who we are
TidyPath is made by AGW Quiet Spark Studio Inc., operating as Quiet Spark Studio, a Canadian company based in Ontario. In this policy, "we," "us" and "our" mean Quiet Spark Studio.
The person responsible for protecting your personal information is our Founder. You can reach them at hello@tidypath.app.
What we collect
Information you give us
- Your name and email address when you create an account.
- Your sign-in is handled by Firebase Authentication. We never see or store your password.
Information you create in the app
- Photos of your space that you take or upload.
- The cleaning plans TidyPath creates from those photos.
- Session details, such as tasks, time spent and progress.
- Your choices, such as energy level, available time and the type of room.
Information collected automatically
- Basic device and app information, such as device type, operating system and app version.
- Crash reports and error logs.
- Usage analytics, such as which screens are opened and which features are used. Analytics never include your photos.
What we don't collect
- Precise location
- Your contacts
- Social media data
- Any other files on your device
How your photos are handled
Your photos are the most personal thing you share with TidyPath, so here's exactly what happens to them:
- When you add a photo, it's stored securely in Firebase Storage and sent to Google's Gemini AI service, which looks at it and helps create your cleaning plan.
- We use Gemini through Google's paid API. Under Google's terms for that service, your photos are not used to train or improve Google's AI models. Google may keep a temporary log of requests for a limited time, only to detect misuse and meet legal obligations.
- Your photo is automatically deleted from our storage 3 days after you add it.
- The cleaning plan created from your photo is text, not an image. It stays in your account so you can come back to it, until you delete your account.
How we use your information
- To provide the app: signing you in, creating your plans and running your sessions.
- To personalize it: fitting tasks to the energy and time you choose.
- To keep it working and improve it: finding and fixing bugs, and understanding which features help.
- To talk to you: essential messages such as welcome emails, security notices and important updates.
We don't sell your information, share it for advertising, or use your photos for anything other than creating your plan.
Who helps us run TidyPath
We use a small number of trusted service providers. They process information only to provide their service to us.
- Google Firebase: sign-in, database and photo storage.
- Google Gemini API: analyzing your photo to create your plan.
- Firebase Crashlytics and Sentry: crash reports and error logs.
- PostHog and Google Analytics: usage analytics.
- Resend: sending account emails.
Where your data is stored
Your data is stored on servers in the United States. This means it may be processed outside Canada, and may be subject to the laws of the United States. All data is encrypted in transit and at rest.
How long we keep it
- Photos: deleted 3 days after you add them.
- Account, plans and session data: kept while your account is active.
- After you delete your account: your personal data is permanently deleted within 30 days and can't be recovered.
Your choices and rights
You can ask to access, correct, download or delete your information at any time. To delete your account and all your data, email hello@tidypath.app from the email address on your account.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights. In Canada, these include rights under the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA). If you're in the European Union or California, you may have rights under the GDPR or the CCPA. We respect these rights and will honor valid requests.
If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, please contact us first so we can try to fix it. You also have the right to complain to a privacy regulator, such as the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
Children
TidyPath isn't intended for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we'll delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. If we make significant changes, we'll let you know in the app or by email, and we'll update the date at the top.
